Annals for Hospitalists includes monthly “Inpatient Notes” commentaries that explore topics relevant to hospitalists. The editors seek articles that present novel ideas about impending changes in the field, clarify controversial or challenging concepts, or highlight under-recognized issues or emerging evidence. Commentaries contain a maximum of 850 words of text and 5 references. See previously published Inpatient Notes here.
